Improvements to the HARMONIE-AROME Limited Area Numerical Weather Prediction System

Description

The HARMONIE-AROME high-scale numerical weather prediction (NWP) modelling system has been set up over a southern European and a northern European domain. The system provides high-resolution NWP data for several European case studies. A selection of system improvements for short-term prediction of extreme precipitation events has been developed.
